"The Gathering" Potluck

Following the worship service on January 25, we will get together to have lunch and a conversation about this month's "Growing Together" topic, Resting In Jesus. See Cindy Cheney for any questions about what to bring.

New Year's Renewal Service Booklets
If you were unable to join us for our New Year's Service (January 4), be sure to pick up your copy of the Renewal Booklet located at the Belonging Table (across from the Welcome Table). In it you will find some foundational messages/concepts for our sermon topics this year.

Some New Things for 2026 (Growing Together)
Each month during 2026, our sermons will center on a different theme/topic. Daily texts that correspond to these will look like the following:
Mondays: Spiritual discipline and/or prayer challenge to try for the week
Tuesdays: First Scripture Reading
Wednesdays: List of Songs
Thursdays: Second Scripture Reading
Fridays: Devotional/Blog Post/Other Resource
Saturdays: Personal Reflection Questions
Sundays: Weekly Announcements (Also Posted on Website)

To sign up for the daily texts, email pastor@riverrocknaz.com or text 406-924-6700. If you need to opt out, please let Pastor know so you can still be included in other church texts.
“The Gathering” Fellowships: The last Sunday of every month we’ll have a potluck lunch where our full congregation can come together and participate in a conversation similar to our Alpha group meetings. The content will come from the sermon topic/theme and corresponding daily texts/emails.
Book/Resource List: A list of resources (books, websites, podcasts, etc.) to help us keep going deeper in our relationship with God can be found on our church website (riverrocknaz.com).

Alpha
Starts January 13th

Free Dinner Included
Alpha is a great way to share what you have come to enjoy in a relationship with God with neighbors, friends and family who may be curious about why you live the way you do. Or those who have expressed to you they feel empty, are hurting, or are finding themselves confused about life. It’s a way to say to others, “Me too! Here’s where I find help with my own life struggles!” And, it takes some pressure off of you to find the perfect words to explain everything.
Further, because it is low pressure, it’s great for people who may be interested in Christianity, but aren’t in a place to commit to a church. Alpha is not a Bible study. It is not lesson-oriented. It is simply an on-going conversation about the Christian faith over a series of shared meals. All opinions, feelings, and questions are welcome at the table. Open conversations amongst guests who come from different backgrounds, beliefs and life experiences center on one topic each week, and are designed to draw people together in relationship as they engage with content presented in video format.
While it’s ideal for guests to attend all the sessions from the beginning, they can jump in at any time. We have ways to catch them up. Or, if they like, they can attend any sessions when a new group begins.
Information cards to share with others can be found on the Welcome Table or on the TV stand by the front door at the church. Take a few!

Prayer for Alpha
Please pray for (and during) our first Alpha meeting this Tuesday night. Due to the schedules of those interested in the group, we may be making adjustments to our meeting day and time, so our prayer sign-up sheet will be available once details are finalized.

Belgrade School Supplies
We are continuing to donate supplies for kids who may not have access to the basic things they need for school. A list of items needed can be found at the bottom of this page or on the Welcome Table at the church. See Pam Kelly if you have any questions.
